Overview
The Tour d’Andorra is a tough 4 stage tour with high altitude climbs surrounded by the best landscapes of the country and probably of the whole Pyrenees Mountains. Be treated like a pro cyclist but still spend good time discovering our culture and our food. We’ll take care of your physical recovery to make you complete the Tour with full energy.
You’ll climb 10 passes of which 6 have been ridden in a stage of the Tour de France or La Vuelta.
The Route
Stage 1 - Into the Mountains
Coll de la Peguera · Coll de la Gallina · La Comella
Distance: 85km
Elevation: 2.500m
A demanding first stage to set the tone. Long climbs, steep gradients and your first contact with Andorra’s iconic passes.
A gentle rollout leads us to the first real test of the week, before taking on the iconic Coll de la Gallina — one of Andorra’s most demanding climbs and closely linked to Joaquim Rodríguez.
Stage 2 - The Queen Stage
Port d'Envalira · Coll d'Ordino · Arcalís
Distance: 110 km
Elevation: 3.000 m
The hardest day of the tour. A long and steady ascent to Port d’Envalira (2,407 m), the highest road pass in the Pyrenees, before linking classic terrain across the valleys and finishing in Arcalís — a climb etched into Tour de France history.
Stage 3 - Sterrato & Beixalís Climb
Engolasters · Cortals d'Encamp · Beixalís
Distance: 95km
Elevation: 3.000m
A demanding and adventurous stage that mixes tarmac with exciting gravel (“sterrato”) sections around Cortals d’Encamp. The route starts with the beautiful climb to Engolasters before heading into the wild terrain, adding a sense of exploration to the day. The final challenge comes with the hardest side of Beixalís, a steep and relentless ascent that will push riders to their limits.
Stage 4 - Borders & Hidden Roads
Pal · Port de Cabús · Arinsal
Distance: 80km
Elevation: 2.500m
The grand finale of the tour takes riders through some of Andorra’s most stunning landscapes. The highlight is the ascent of Port de Cabús, widely considered the most beautiful climb in the country, with its remote and untamed scenery. The stage continues towards Pal before finishing in Arinsal, closing the tour on a high in true mountain style.
