Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy

At N+1 Cycling Tours, we aim to offer flexibility while ensuring the highest level of planning and service for every trip.

Open Tours 

For our scheduled (open) tours, the following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before departure: no cancellation fee applies and 100% of the deposit will be issued as travel credit

  • Between 61 and 90 days before departure: 50% of the trip price will be charged, and 75% of the trip price will be issued as travel credit

  • Between 31 and 60 days before departure: 75% of the trip price will be charged, and 50% of the trip price will be issued as travel credit

  • 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip price will be charged and no credit will be issued

Custom & Private Tours

Due to the tailored nature and pre-arranged logistics of custom and private trips, the following conditions apply:

  • More than 90 days before departure: 25% of the trip price will be charged, and 100% of the deposit will be issued as travel credit

  • Between 61 and 90 days before departure: 100% of the trip price will be charged, and 75% of the trip price will be issued as travel credit

  • Between 31 and 60 days before departure: 100% of the trip price will be charged, and 25% of the trip price will be issued as travel credit

  • 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip price will be charged and no credit will be issued

All custom and private trips are non-refundable. However, up to 90 days before departure, bookings may be transferred to another group or converted into travel credit.

Custom and private tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached, N+1 Cycling Tours reserves the right to adjust the price or propose alternative solutions, such as rescheduling or issuing travel credit.

Travel Credit

Any travel credit issued:

  • Is valid for 24 months from the date of issue

  • Is non-refundable

  • Can be transferred to another trip or participant

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Booking & Payments

To confirm a reservation, a deposit of €500 per person is required, unless otherwise specified.

The remaining balance is structured as follows:

  • 50% of the total trip cost must be paid 4 months before departure

  • 100% of the total trip cost must be paid 2 months before departure

Failure to complete payments within the specified deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking.

Trip Details

All relevant trip information, including itinerary, accommodation, logistics, and services, will be provided in the travel notes prior to departure.

These documents form an integral part of the travel contract.

Accomodation & Logistics

Accommodation, transport, and other services included in the trip are carefully selected to ensure a high-quality experience.

Due to availability or operational reasons, specific hotels or services may change. In such cases, alternatives of equal standard will always be provided.

Itinerary Changes

Cycling trips are subject to external factors such as weather conditions, road access, safety considerations, or logistical constraints.

N+1 Cycling Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary when necessary to ensure the safety and overall experience of participants.

Minimum Participants

Some trips require a minimum number of participants to operate.

If this minimum is not reached, N+1 Cycling Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip, offering alternatives such as travel credit or new dates.

Guest Responsabilities

By booking a trip, guests acknowledge and agree that they:

  • Are in good physical condition and capable of participating in cycling activities

  • Have sufficient technical ability to ride safely

  • Will follow all safety instructions and local traffic regulations

  • Are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings

Guests are also responsible for any damages or incidents caused by negligence or failure to follow guidelines.

Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in any N+1 Cycling Tours service and is mandatory for participation.

Guests must arrange their own insurance, covering:

  • Medical assistance and accidents

  • Trip cancellation

  • Repatriation

Proof of insurance must be provided at least 2 months prior to departure.

Assistance During the Trip

N+1 Cycling Tours is responsible for the correct execution of all services included in the trip.

If any issue arises during the trip, guests must inform the team as soon as possible so that it can be addressed promptly.

Additional assistance caused by negligence or misuse may incur extra costs.

Special Requests

Any special requests made by guests must be communicated in advance and will only be confirmed if accepted and detailed in the travel notes.

Photography & Media

During the trip, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.

Guests who do not wish to appear in such materials must inform N+1 Cycling Tours prior to the start of the trip.

Claims

Any complaint or claim must be communicated as soon as possible during the trip.

If not resolved on-site, it must be submitted in writing within a maximum of 5 days after the end of the trip.

Transfer of Booking

The main booking holder may transfer their reservation to another person, provided that:

  • The new participant meets the requirements of the trip

  • The request is made at least 14 days before departure

Data Protection

Personal data provided by guests will be used exclusively for the management of the booking and delivery of services.

Data may be shared with third-party providers involved in the trip (such as hotels or transport services).

Guests may exercise their rights of access, modification, or deletion of their data at any time.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms will be subject to the applicable legal framework and jurisdiction.
